Liz Tuck, Principal
Welcome to South Forsyth Middle School!
I am honored to serve as Principal of South Forsyth Middle. My career in Forsyth County began in 1996 right here at South Middle, and since then I have served as a teacher, Instructional Coach, Assistant Administrator, and Assistant Principal. Most recently, I spent six years supporting the Piney Grove and Riverwatch communities. My husband and I have called Forsyth County home since 1998, raising our three children in the West community of schools.
At SFMS, our focus is simple:
- Creating a safe school that our students and community are excited to be a part of
- Helping students build meaningful connections with peers, teachers, and activities through Flex Time, Fine Arts, Athletics, and Clubs
- Guiding students as they discover who they are as learners and as people, and the impact they can make on the world around them
Middle school is a time for growth, exploration, and finding confidence in their future impact. I am excited to partner with you in that journey and look forward to meeting each of you while supporting your children as they soar at South Forsyth Middle.

Dana Reid, Assistant Principal 8th Grade
I am honored to continue serving the South Forsyth community in my role as Assistant Principal. Now in my 26th year in education, I remain deeply committed to building meaningful connections with our students and families. My goal is to support a positive and connected school environment where every student can thrive both academically and personally.
Outside of school, I am happily married to my husband, Andy, and we are the proud parents of two wonderful college-aged children. In my free time, I enjoy exploring new places through travel and getting lost in a good book. I look forward to another great year of learning, growth, and partnership within this incredible community.

Lisa White, Assistant Principal 6th Grade
I am beyond excited to join the South community as one of your Assistant Principals. I have been in education for 16 years, teaching elementary school in Douglas County and Henry County before joining Forsyth County in 2017. During my time here, I have been a teacher and educational technology coach for the Matt Elementary community and an Assistant Administrator for the Vickery Creek Middle community.
When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Chris, and our two children, Emily and Carson. I am looking forward to connecting and collaborating with the amazing staff, students, and community here at South Forsyth Middle School. It is going to be a great year, Eagles!

Chris Baker, Assistant Administrator
I am honored to begin my new role as Assistant Administrator at South Forsyth Middle School. This year marks my 30th in the field of education and my 19th year serving the South Middle School community. I will continue in my capacities as Athletic Director and as coach of the 8th Grade Girls Basketball Team and the Golf Team. I look forward to continuing to serve and support the South community in this expanded role.
