Jennifer Yoo - 8th Grade
Hello, my name is Jennifer Yoo, and I am the 8th grade counselor at South Forsyth Middle School. It's so lovely to meet you. The 2024-25 school year marks my seventh year as a school counselor. I earned my undergraduate degree and master's degree from the University of Georgia. And I recently finished my Education Specialist degree in School Counseling from Valdosta State University. In my free time, I love listening to music, watching Netflix, hiking, and traveling. I'm looking forward to an awesome school year together!

Leslie Oldham - 7th Grade
I am Leslie Oldham, and I am so excited to be the 7th grade school counselor for the 2026–2027 school year!
I earned my B.S. in Psychology from the University of Mary Washington and my M.Ed. in School Counseling from the University of Massachusetts. I am also currently completing the requirements to become a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
When I'm not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking, and dreaming about our next adventure!
My goal is to inspire every student to reach their fullest potential by providing encouragement and support academically, socially, and emotionally. I strive to create a safe, welcoming environment where every student feels valued, cared for, and empowered to succeed.

Lara Bramel - 6th Grade
My name is Lara Bramel, and I’m the 6th-grade counselor! This is my sixth year as a school counselor, and I am so excited for another year at South Middle! I have a B.S. in Special Education (Adapted Curriculum) from the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!) as well as a Master's degree in School Counseling from Georgia State University and an Educational Specialist degree from the University of West Georgia in Professional Counseling. When I’m not at school, I enjoy reading, running, and spending time with my friends and family. I’m passionate about providing a safe space where students know they belong and helping students develop the social/emotional skills they need to thrive in middle school and beyond.
